Powerful 7.6 magnitude quake strikes Indonesia's southern sumatra, large buildings collapsed and fires started due to quake; tremors reportedly felt in various parts of S'pore.

erms.. if S'pore is miles away from Indonesia also can feel the tremors, i wonder how it would feel like to be in the country itself. just counting myself lucky ii guess, to be born in a safe place whereby i do not have to go thru such natural disasters... even a couple of countries like Vietnam,Philipines was not spared from natural disaster ytd, whereby this typhoon Ketsana is sweeping thru the cities killing so as many as 250. -.- just hope not many ppl are killed and the numbers will just remain as it is.
