Im blogging on a Saturday... means ii verii guai got stay at home today... ^^  At home decides to set up my printer which my elder bro just bought, den nidda clean up the place and shifted the locations of the stuffs in my hse =D This one the old de, got colour de functions but useless use ink like drink water =x so use it as a scanner now.. lols  This is the latest addition to the house, a Laser printer.. woohoo~ cool can.. print so fast =p  Ta Da!!! lols da gong gao cheng... my house's workstation =D actual may haf some slight changes to it.. hahas cuz ii lazii upload foto from my digicam.. so make do with my hp de jiu haos =x

A carrot, an egg and a cup of coffee... You will never look at a cup of coffee the same way again. A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up.She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose. Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil, without saying a word. In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl. Turning to her daughter, she asked, "Tell me, what do you see?" "Carrots, eggs, and coffee," she replied. Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it.After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg. Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, "What does it mean, mother?" Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity... boiling water. Each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened. The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water. "Which are you?" she asked her daughter. "When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond?Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?" Think of this: Which am I?Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength?Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a break-up, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart?Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavour. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you. When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest, do you elevate yourself to another level? How do you handle adversity? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean? May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Some may have factors like needing the other person to kip fit to suite his/her current lifestyle. Some rely on feeling.But wat exactly is feeling? I would term it as "click", using a lock and key hypothesis to support this statement, onlii the right key is able to insert into a certain lock, and that key tat is able to unlock it is the one ultimately.Some may say tt how the person presents him/herself, how he/she can bring out him/herself, its just like this person is outstanding among the crowd, this type goes for the special one to be exact, wanting something that is extraordinary. Just feel that everyone at this moment is getting too stress up with workloads suffocating each and everyone of us or even personal problems. like me, ii am suppose to be studying hrf test, yet im blogging now when ii wake up this "early" to study for it... lols but nvm.. feel this blog is impt for ppl to read. Below is a short story to let everyone read: =) THE DONKEY One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off! MORAL :Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.Remember the five simple rules to be happy: 1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive. 2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happen. 3. Live simply and appreciate what you have. 4. Give more. 5. Expect less After this story, i suppose all of us should learn to take challenges tt come along as stepping stones and not see things as an obstacles. These challenges tat came along are going to be things that will help one grow stronger. In contrary, if one feels tat these obstacles are just obstacles, they might find tt its going to be verii tough to get out of the emotional distress that one may face.when face with a problem, just be strong and shake it off! this is to everyone of my frens =) lols sry haven been blogging =) but ii will try to do so soon and conclude my questionaire in the last post!! well then.. tts all folks!
